Dance, Zhineng Qigong and Mindfulness for Children
By practicing Zhineng Qigong, children are calmer, get more self confidence, are more aware of themselves and their bodies and they can concentrate better.
Children nowadays have a busy life. They get a lot of information and external stimulants and incentives, for example at school, in their peer group and by internet. This makes that children nowadays are more busy with their heads, and far less with the rest of their body.
Zhineng Qigong exercises are given to children in a playful and creative way and are short and simple. I combine these exercises with music and dance. The intention is that children can lose their own fantasy during these activities.
With proper training, parents, mentors and teachers can contribute to Zhineng Qigong for children in a supportive way.
